Our Services

Peer Support Group

The power of connection and routine can play an important role in recovery and well-being. Facilitated by trained Peer Supporters, Lifewise Peer Support Groups offer a welcoming space for individuals to connect, share experiences, and build hope through meaningful conversation and community.

Our Services

Family Group Support

Our families can play a major role in addiction and recovery support, and the journey affects everyone differently. Lifewise Family Workshops focus on the needs of the family member (including “family of choice”) as they support a loved one with mental health and addictions issues.

Our Services

Individual (1:1) Support

Delivered by certified Lifewise staff, individual peer support provides greater opportunities for individual encouragement through relationship building and sharing of lived experiences.

Our Services

Warmline

The Warmline offers support and information from trained Lifewise staff to the public 14 hours a day, seven days a week. The number to call is 1-855-753-2560 for support.

Our Services

Doorways

In partnership with NL Health Services, peer support is a formal part of single-session, walk-in clinics, allowing individuals timely access to peer support, and clinical supports.

Our Services

Public Education

From wellness workshops to peer support training, Lifewise offers flexible educational opportunities designed to inform, inspire, and connect. Our sessions combine practical tools, lived experience, and evidence-based knowledge to support healthier individuals, workplaces, and communities.

Our Services

Perinatal Peer Support

You don’t have to navigate pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenting alone. Lifewise’s Perinatal Peer Support Program provides free, accessible support and connection from trained Peer Supporters who understand the unique experiences and challenges of the perinatal journey.

About Lifewise

Getting where you want to be.

Lifewise is one of the first provincial organizations in Newfoundland & Labrador created by and for individuals living with mental health and addictions issues. We exist to support and encourage individual recovery through self-determination, while working to break the stigma surrounding these issues in society.
